Chez Swann is in a great location to explore Montreal . Parking is under the hotel next door which is convenient but does require moving luggage through their lobby and down a flight of stairs . The staff are very helpful. The room was a little tired . Gouged wooden floor , no toilet paper holder and weird steps from bathroom to bed which we were not expecting . Not great for walking at night . The breakfast was disappointing. No fresh fruit , packaged pastries, bad coffee, no eggs. We went out the second day to the restaurant down the street for breakfast. For the price I think they could do better .

Great stay! Easy and super close to hop on the subway (1 min walk) and be in old Montreal. Onsite parking was no issues. Breakfast nice and patio and individual terrace was a bonus.

"This was our first stop on our 2 weeks in Canada, 2 nights in Montreal. Look for public parking lots and leave your car there while you walk everywhere. The recommended 388 Rue de Christian which feels kinda sketchy. I think I’d try the Public parking lot in China town it’s on a Main Street and not ..."
